Eye pencil is generally applied before eyeshadow but you can intensify the stroke afterwards for a fuller, more defined effect. Additionally, some eyeshadows can be used to set the pencil and make your look last longer, or double as eyeliner! With a small brush with a fine, angled or rounded tip, you can apply a small amount of product and create a small flick to elongate the eye.
KIKO cream and liquid eyeshadows are light and delicate, and don't weigh down the eyelid, offering comfort from the very first application. For an even more flawless result, you can use an eye primer, which makes the product easier to apply and minimises the risk of the eyeshadow migrating or settling into creases on your eyelid.
If you don't have much experience applying eyeshadow, starting with a primer that evens out the eyelid will make everything easier. Continue by applying the eyeshadow gradually, starting with a neutral shade before intensifying the look with bolder tones, making sure that you blend well from the outer corner inwards: gentle, controlled motions make all the difference!
To pair an eye pencil with your eyeshadow, choose the colour and intensity you want for your look. You can create tone-on-tone combos between your pencil, mascara and eyeshadow, or use different colours that work nicely with each other for an original, individual style.
