Do KIKO MILANO products contain mineral oils?

All mineral oils used in cosmetics are of a high quality, i.e. pharmaceutical grade. The use of food grade mineral oils is recommended for lip products since the safety of the same has been recognized by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives.
The utmost priority of the Italian cosmetics industry and KIKO remains the safety of its products. In fact, all cosmetic products must comply with stringent European standards that ensure the safety of the products and safeguard the health of consumers accordingly.
All KIKO products are tested and evaluated by a specialized team to determine the safety of the end product before it is marketed; these assessments include the testing of every ingredient used, how and where the product is to be used, by whom and how often. This evaluation ensures that the presence of MOSH (Mineral Oil Saturated Hydrocarbons) in the KIKO formulas that use such ingredients, is well below the daily amount permitted in food products, as defined by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
